Rachel Lambert, LPC, BCN

Founder & Owner

Rachel, Founder and Owner of Braincode Centers, studied Psychology at Baylor University where she earned her undergraduate degree. She went on to earn her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor and she is also Board Certified in Neurofeedback. Rachel is very passionate about the mission of Braincode Centers and wants everyone to have the opportunity to learn about the power of creating a resilient brain. Rachel’s own life was transformed by neurofeedback more than 17 years ago. She has unique insight and personally values each and every client’s journey thanks to her own experience with neurofeedback.

Rachel is an avid golfer, mountain biker, and loves traveling. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, Jordan. Rachel would tell you that Braincode Centers is her other baby and that she cares for it as such.

Angie Noack, LPC

Senior VP of Business Development

Angie received her Bachelor’s degree from Mid-America Christian University where she studied Behavioral Science and Music Performance. She went on to earn her Master’s degree from Colorado Christian University in Counseling. Angie serves as a licensed professional counselor at Braincode Centers and is currently in the process of becoming a Board Certified Professional in Neurofeedback. She combines fundamental elements from both studies the help change her clients’ lives. She has clinical experience in treating dependence, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, concussion recovery, and performance anxiety. Angie is a fitness enthusiast who loves to spend time with her puppies whenever she gets the chance.

Ronald J. Swatzyna, PhD

Doctor of Neurophysiology

Ronald J. Swatzyna, PhD received his Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work from The University of Texas Arlington. Currently, he is the Director/Chief Scientist of Neurophysiology Research at Houston Neuroscience Brain Center and Founder of Clinical NeuroAnalytics, LLC. Dr. Swatzyna is a licensed clinical social worker, and board certified in neurofeedback and biofeedback by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). For the past 25 years, Dr. Swatzyna has analyzed and treated the most diagnostically challenging cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings and 17 years ago he started acquiring electroencephalography (EEG) and quantitative EEG (qEEG) data to assist psychiatrists in medication selection and titration. Dr. Swatzyna also holds the distinction of being the first to integrate Pharmaco-EEG into private practice in the United States. As a researcher, he has presented and/or published over 90 peer-reviewed papers on brain injury, dysfunction, psychotropic medication, and other related topics at national and international conferences. Dr. Swatzyna is the Chair of the Sigma Xi Institutional Review Board (IRB) and is a board member of the Rice University/Texas Medical Center Chapter. Dr. Swatzyna is a retired City of Arlington, Texas professional Firefighter-EMT-I and a veteran of Vietnam and the first Gulf War. Finally, his personal battle with a traumatic brain injury and posttraumatic stress disorder has motivated him to become a leading expert in brain dysfunction.

Elle Dalebroux

qEEG ANALYST

Elle holds a BS in psychology with an emphasis in healthcare and business and a minor in neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She has her Board Certification in Neurofeedback with the International Alliance of Biofeedback Services with 8 years of experience working as a neurofeedback clinician in several office settings- including behavioral analytics, peak performance, and neurological rehabilitation. She recently completed her quantitative EEG diplomacy, and continues to refine her expertise reading and analyzing quantitative brain maps and EEGs. Furthermore, she has also obtained her certification hours as a brain-based and solution-focused accredited coach. In her free time, you can find her dancing at Red Rocks, perfecting a yoga pose, or playing in the mountains with her dog, Watson.

Brooke Patton, MA, LPCC

Clinical Manager, Neurofeedback Specialist - Douglas County

Brooke Patton, MA, LPCC, has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Colorado Christian University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Regis University, where she studied Liberal Arts. She also holds her Colorado K-12 Teaching license.

Brooke is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with experience in trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and Autism. As a wife of a first responder, Brooke brings her experience working with heros in our community to the counseling and Neurofeedback field. She is passionate about providing a holistic treatment experience in a safe environment for children and families.

As a Colorado native, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, working out, boating, and traveling.

Nikita Romanzov, LPC, BCN

Brain Map Specialist; Neurofeedback Specialist

Nikita Gayle Romanzov, MA, LPCC, has a master’s degree in somatic psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in the state of Colorado. She has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and has worked in both physical and mental health for the past six years.

Nikita is also a fully certified yoga therapist and uses a whole-body approach to healing. She has clinical experience working with depression, anxiety, complex PTSD, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, and eating disorders. She loves helping people understand how their brain affects health and healing and prioritizes her clients feeling fully seen and understood in each session.

When not at BrainCode Centers, Nikita can be found out backpacking, rock climbing, or overlanding in her fiancé’s jeep. She also loves spending quiet evenings at home, doing yoga, journaling, and drinking tea.

Cody Baker, LPC, BCN

Clinical Counseling Supervisor

Cody Baker is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. He has a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health from Denver Seminary. Since his graduation from Denver Seminary Cody has worked at Children’s Hospital, Private Practice, Douglas County School District, and Littleton Public School District. Cody works with both adults and adolescents with many different issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, etc. After his daughter, Blakely died in 2019 his focus and passion shifted to helping others with their journey through grief and loss.

Cody is married to his wife Heather and they have three kids; Emiline age 6, Blakely(stillborn), and Zayde age 2. When Cody is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, fishing, golfing, being outdoors, watching hockey, and going on walks with his 10 year old Bernese Mountain Dog named Perry.

Bessie Gillen, LPC, BCN

Neurofeedback Specialist - Highlands Ranch & Douglas County

Bessie, MA, LPCC, studied Marriage and Family Therapy at BYU where she earned her undergraduate degree and received her Master’s in Counseling at Regis University. She is quickly earning her BCN. Bessie has long been impassioned about brain health and mental health and has a huge devotion for our first responder community. Bessie has both law enforcement and firefighters in her family and is a family survivor having lost her grandfather in the line of duty. She has also worked in mentoring teens and young adults since 2011. She has facilitated women’s body positive groups and art therapy groups. Her vast work experience in both traditional and holistic healthcare has made her passionate about bringing light into mental health stigmas.

In her free time, you can find her hiking with her dog, reading an eclectic collection of books, antique shopping, refinishing furniture, or crafting beauty into the world.

Kim Brown

Director of Neurofeedback Services

Kim studied Psychology and Kinesiology at the University of Houston, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. She went on to become a Certified Life Coach and is currently in the process of becoming a Board Certified Professional in Neurofeedback. She has training and certifications from NASM, NSCA, and IMG Academy. Over the last ten years, Kim’s focus has been rooted in youth sports performance. She is passionate about training and mentoring athletes to achieve peak mental performance. Kim strives to address mental health across all spectrums and believes neurofeedback is an essential tool in doing so. In her free time, Kim loves to play sports, explore new cultures, spend time with her niece and nephew, and catch live shows.

Marissa Woodman, BCN

Map Review Specialist

Marissa graduated with a B.S in Health Communication from Juniata College. She is also a Certified Health Coach and Certified Holistic Health Practitioner. She has always been passionate about helping others uncover what’s holding them back and taking aligned action in order to live the life they’re longing for.

During her years of coaching she remained committed to healing her own mental challenges that stemmed from chronic health issues. She ended up finding BrainCode Center and became a lifelong advocate for the powers of Neurofeedback. She has since joined the team and finds joy in blending her technical knowledge with her lived experience to support those who come through our doors.

In her free time, Marissa enjoys being out in nature, cooking, trying new restaurants, reading, and engaging in varying mind-body practices such as acupuncture, reiki, breathwork etc.

Reagan Hausman, B.A., BCN

Neurofeedback Specialist - Highlands Ranch

Reagan received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Child Education from The University of Tulsa, where she was also a student-athlete on their Track & Field team. She has always been passionate about the complexity and power of the brain, and strives to normalize mental health by being a voice of hope and support. She then used this drive to secure her board certification in Neurofeedback, and now uses that applied knowledge to give her clients the best care possible. She has had experience working with children in crisis stabilization units and as a head Track coach for middle school athletes. In her free time, she loves to play golf with her family and create valuable memories with her close friends.

Amber Osika

DCSO Billing Specialist, Remote

Amber is a Colorado native and has lived in Fountain, Parker and Colorado Springs. She has five sisters and a brother. She loves spending time with her sister Alisha who has Down Syndrome. Amber received her Bachelor’s degree from Colorado Technical University in Business Management. She has worked in many different industries and has a strong organizational background. Amber does all of the billing for all of Douglas County for Braincode Centers. She is passionate about helping others and understands the importance of mental health. She has two cats and really enjoys going to concerts and listening to live music. She is an active member at her church. In her free time she loves to go to the hot springs and to go to Estes Park or somewhere on the beach.

Elisha Trombley

Office Manager - Denver

With a degree in Healthcare Administration and Management Elisha is dedicated to improving the efficiency and quality of mental healthcare. A firm believer in true health encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. Her professional journey is fueled by her passion in helping others. Outside of work Elisha loves to workout, travel, explore new cultures, spend quality time with her loved ones, and going on many adventures with her furbaby.

Alicia Gonzalez

Office Manager - Littleton/Highlands Ranch

Alicia Gonzalez, born and raised in Mexico, immigrated to the US as a young adult, married with five beautiful kids and three grandkids. Went to school at El Paso Community College where I graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. Have been working in the medical field for over 20 years. My passion is to help others and treat everyone with dignity and respect. My hobbies are reading books, running, and hiking.

Meghan Kusiak

Neurofeedback Specialist - Highlands Ranch

Meghan is currently working towards her Master’s degree in Counseling at Regis University. She has a diverse background between her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Denver and over 5 years of experience working with both children and adults in the fitness industry. She has been refining her counseling skills in more recent years, focusing on mental health in her continued education. Meghan’s passion for helping others in their journey to wellness has led her from talk therapy to neurofeedback where she feels her passions in physical and mental health can both be honored. As a Colorado native, Meghan enjoys all summer and winter mountain activities, singing gigs, live theater, smothering her cat, outdoor volleyball, and any form of exercise.

Jonathan Allison

Neurofeedback Specialist - Downtown Denver (Sante Fe Office)

Jonathan spent most of his life as an artist, but always found meaning in neuroscience, behavioral biology, and evolutionary psychology. He received his own neurofeedback treatment in 2020, and has since pursued neurofeedback as a career. Jon values highlighting each client’s individual goals, and believes that healing for anyone can be achieved by aligning their own unique intuitions with their external reality.

Maren Hunter

Neurofeedback Specialist, Highlands Ranch, Downtown Denver, Park Meadows

Maren obtained her bachelor of arts in Global Health at Arizona State University before relocating to Colorado to work in healthcare through the pandemic. After spending 2 years gaining hands-on experience in pediatrics, she is currently completing a BSN program through Emory University. Maren is passionate about promoting brain health in the world of healthcare and pushing past mental health stigma to build healthy relationships and strengthen communication skills.

Nicole Hunka, MA, LPCC, BCN

Board Certified Neurofeedback Specialist - Highlands Ranch

Nicole holds her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, where she graduated with honors. In undergraduate degree at Wheaton College, Nicole studied English Literature with a minor in Studio Art.

Nicole has her Board Certification in Neurofeedback with the International Alliance of Biofeedback Services. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, Nicole provides trauma-informed and compassionate care through her training in Brainspotting Therapy and trauma modalities. She has experience working with trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, attachment issues, first responders, depressive disorders, OCD, and ADHD.

In her free time, you can find Nicole hiking, working towards her yearly Goodreads goal, painting, or traveling.

Corbin Gardner-Sweeney, B.A

Neurofeedback Specialist - Downtown Denver (Sante Fe Office)

Corbin graduated with a B.A. in both Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Through her academic and personal experience, she is committed to mental health advocacy and individualized care. As a firm believer that no one should have to navigate the challenges of mental health alone, Corbin is passionate about making mental health resources accessible for everyone. She hopes to make an impact in the field of Neurofeedback by creating an environment for her clients that facilitates empowerment, empathy and learning.

When not at Braincode Centers, you can find Corbin spending quality time with friends and family. As a Colorado native, she loves exploring the mountains, skiing, and finding new restaurants to enjoy. Corbin is honored to be able to give her clients at Braincode Centers the compassionate care and empowerment that they deserve.

Katie Kizer

Neurofeedback Specialist - Westminster

Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her diverse educational background provides a multifaceted understanding of human behavior and its connection to the natural world. Inspired by her mother’s journey with a neurodegenerative disorder, Katie is dedicated to neuropsychology and committed to supporting individuals and families facing similar challenges.

In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her pets, including her cats, dog and tortoise. She also loves exploring the great outdoors, often hiking or tending to her garden. Katie values quality time with friends and family and finds balance through yoga and mindfulness practices.

Matt Bootsma

Neurofeedback Specialist - Westminster

Matt received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Colorado Christian University in 2023, and he is now working toward a Master of Arts in Counseling at Regis University. Matt is passionate about mental health because of the important role that his own counselors and mentors have played in his life. He is eager to help others in their unique journeys toward health and growth both in neurofeedback and as a future counselor. Matt loves spending time with his wife, playing sports, cheering on the Cubs, hiking with his golden doodle, and cooking for his friends and family.

Jillean Veroneau

Coach - Remote Neuro Program

Jillean has over 10 years of experience in Neurofeedback. Starting out as a Neurofeedback Technician in Boston, she saw the benefits Neurofeedback provided as an alternative to medication. She is fascinated with all things brain-related, and knew right away she wanted to continue to help people with this powerful treatment modality.

Jillean received her Bachelors in Psychology and Biology from Roger Williams University in 2011 and her Masters in Applied Psychophysiology from Saybrook University in 2020. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Psychophysiology at Saybrook University. Her previous experience includes working as a Pediatric Neuromodulation Therapist at Cortica, a leading neurological clinic for Autism and Neurodevelopment Disorders. She also has experience as a Neurofeedback Practitioner at a private psychological practice, providing Neurofeedback training sessions for children & adults with a variety of conditions such as ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Insomnia and sleep disorders, OCD, PTSD, Migraines, Fibromyalgia, Concussions, as well as Peak Performance training.

During her free time, you can find Jillean enjoying the San Diego sunshine with her two dogs at the beach. She loves to hike, go camping, and do activities where she can be in nature.

Bridgette holds her B.A. in Clinical Psychology and is currently pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy Certificate. She has experience working with youth athletes, family systems, and personal development at the college age. Bridgette strives to continue her education in Neurofeedback and qEEG training through personal reading, research, and certification programs.
