Rachel, Founder and Owner of Braincode Centers, studied Psychology at Baylor University where she earned her undergraduate degree. She went on to earn her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor and she is also Board Certified in Neurofeedback. Rachel is very passionate about the mission of Braincode Centers and wants everyone to have the opportunity to learn about the power of creating a resilient brain. Rachel’s own life was transformed by neurofeedback more than 17 years ago. She has unique insight and personally values each and every client’s journey thanks to her own experience with neurofeedback.
Rachel is an avid golfer, mountain biker, and loves traveling. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, Jordan. Rachel would tell you that Braincode Centers is her other baby and that she cares for it as such.

Brooke Patton, MA, LPCC, has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Colorado Christian University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Regis University, where she studied Liberal Arts. She also holds her Colorado K-12 Teaching license.
Brooke is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with experience in trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and Autism. As a wife of a first responder, Brooke brings her experience working with heros in our community to the counseling and Neurofeedback field. She is passionate about providing a holistic treatment experience in a safe environment for children and families.
As a Colorado native, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, working out, boating, and traveling.
Nikita Gayle Romanzov, MA, LPCC, has a master’s degree in somatic psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in the state of Colorado. She has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and has worked in both physical and mental health for the past six years.
Nikita is also a fully certified yoga therapist and uses a whole-body approach to healing. She has clinical experience working with depression, anxiety, complex PTSD, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, and eating disorders. She loves helping people understand how their brain affects health and healing and prioritizes her clients feeling fully seen and understood in each session.
When not at BrainCode Centers, Nikita can be found out backpacking, rock climbing, or overlanding in her fiancé’s jeep. She also loves spending quiet evenings at home, doing yoga, journaling, and drinking tea.
Cody Baker is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. He has a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health from Denver Seminary. Since his graduation from Denver Seminary Cody has worked at Children’s Hospital, Private Practice, Douglas County School District, and Littleton Public School District. Cody works with both adults and adolescents with many different issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, etc. After his daughter, Blakely died in 2019 his focus and passion shifted to helping others with their journey through grief and loss.
Cody is married to his wife Heather and they have three kids; Emiline age 6, Blakely(stillborn), and Zayde age 2. When Cody is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, fishing, golfing, being outdoors, watching hockey, and going on walks with his 10 year old Bernese Mountain Dog named Perry.
Bessie, MA, LPCC, studied Marriage and Family Therapy at BYU where she earned her undergraduate degree and received her Master’s in Counseling at Regis University. She is quickly earning her BCN. Bessie has long been impassioned about brain health and mental health and has a huge devotion for our first responder community. Bessie has both law enforcement and firefighters in her family and is a family survivor having lost her grandfather in the line of duty. She has also worked in mentoring teens and young adults since 2011. She has facilitated women’s body positive groups and art therapy groups. Her vast work experience in both traditional and holistic healthcare has made her passionate about bringing light into mental health stigmas.
In her free time, you can find her hiking with her dog, reading an eclectic collection of books, antique shopping, refinishing furniture, or crafting beauty into the world.
Marissa graduated with a B.S in Health Communication from Juniata College. She is also a Certified Health Coach and Certified Holistic Health Practitioner. She has always been passionate about helping others uncover what’s holding them back and taking aligned action in order to live the life they’re longing for.
During her years of coaching she remained committed to healing her own mental challenges that stemmed from chronic health issues. She ended up finding BrainCode Center and became a lifelong advocate for the powers of Neurofeedback. She has since joined the team and finds joy in blending her technical knowledge with her lived experience to support those who come through our doors.
In her free time, Marissa enjoys being out in nature, cooking, trying new restaurants, reading, and engaging in varying mind-body practices such as acupuncture, reiki, breathwork etc.
Nicole holds her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary, where she graduated with honors. In undergraduate degree at Wheaton College, Nicole studied English Literature with a minor in Studio Art.
Nicole has her Board Certification in Neurofeedback with the International Alliance of Biofeedback Services. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, Nicole provides trauma-informed and compassionate care through her training in Brainspotting Therapy and trauma modalities. She has experience working with trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, attachment issues, first responders, depressive disorders, OCD, and ADHD.
In her free time, you can find Nicole hiking, working towards her yearly Goodreads goal, painting, or traveling.
Corbin graduated with a B.A. in both Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Through her academic and personal experience, she is committed to mental health advocacy and individualized care. As a firm believer that no one should have to navigate the challenges of mental health alone, Corbin is passionate about making mental health resources accessible for everyone. She hopes to make an impact in the field of Neurofeedback by creating an environment for her clients that facilitates empowerment, empathy and learning.
When not at Braincode Centers, you can find Corbin spending quality time with friends and family. As a Colorado native, she loves exploring the mountains, skiing, and finding new restaurants to enjoy. Corbin is honored to be able to give her clients at Braincode Centers the compassionate care and empowerment that they deserve.
Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Environmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her diverse educational background provides a multifaceted understanding of human behavior and its connection to the natural world. Inspired by her mother’s journey with a neurodegenerative disorder, Katie is dedicated to neuropsychology and committed to supporting individuals and families facing similar challenges.
In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her pets, including her cats, dog and tortoise. She also loves exploring the great outdoors, often hiking or tending to her garden. Katie values quality time with friends and family and finds balance through yoga and mindfulness practices.
Jillean has over 10 years of experience in Neurofeedback. Starting out as a Neurofeedback Technician in Boston, she saw the benefits Neurofeedback provided as an alternative to medication. She is fascinated with all things brain-related, and knew right away she wanted to continue to help people with this powerful treatment modality.
Jillean received her Bachelors in Psychology and Biology from Roger Williams University in 2011 and her Masters in Applied Psychophysiology from Saybrook University in 2020. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Psychophysiology at Saybrook University. Her previous experience includes working as a Pediatric Neuromodulation Therapist at Cortica, a leading neurological clinic for Autism and Neurodevelopment Disorders. She also has experience as a Neurofeedback Practitioner at a private psychological practice, providing Neurofeedback training sessions for children & adults with a variety of conditions such as ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Insomnia and sleep disorders, OCD, PTSD, Migraines, Fibromyalgia, Concussions, as well as Peak Performance training.
During her free time, you can find Jillean enjoying the San Diego sunshine with her two dogs at the beach. She loves to hike, go camping, and do activities where she can be in nature.
